This opportunity seeks a licensed Illinois school psychologist to provide full-time support primarily for high school students. The position is structured as a leave contract with flexibility for in-person and remote work. Work Arrangement: Primarily in-person; hybrid considered with 3 days onsite and 2 days remote
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive psychological evaluations and assessments for high school students
- Collaborate with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams to develop Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
- Provide counseling and support services to students addressing academic, emotional, and behavioral needs
- Participate in district-wide initiatives as needed to support students across multiple grade levels
- Facilitate IEP meetings with flexibility to accommodate families schedules
Qualifications And Desired Experience
- Licensed School Psychologist in the state of Illinois
- Experience working with high school-aged students preferred
- Strong understanding of psychological assessment tools and special education regulations
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage with students, families, and school staff
- Ability to manage a caseload and prioritize multiple responsibilities efficiently
